Linen Drapery
Linen drapes are a wonderful way to incorporate the look of linen while also serving a practical purpose, especially for summer. Our linen drapery in any of our six custom drapery styles is durable and heavy enough to hang beautifully from your windows and receive daily use, but are still light enough to not look or feel too heavy in the warmer months.
Opt for our sheer linens for an extra breezy option; this loose weave sways gently in the breeze and lets in plenty of light, making it the perfect choice for summer homes and living areas. Our neutral ecru shade adds to the natural feel of this flowing drapery and is effortless to style, or choose a white sheer linen for that classic and crisp summer look. Sheer linen drapes are also excellent candidates for if you intend to layer, but still look great as standalone window treatments. With so many linen fabrics and four different shade styles offered here at Loom, your options really are endless for these essential window treatments. By choosing linen for your shades, you get a lot of the same benefits that you get with linen drapery: practicality and style. In a space such as a kitchen or living room where you want lots of sunlight and are less concerned about privacy, our tulip and relaxed roman shades are best. Lining options are also available on all styles for a custom level of privacy and light. These elegantly folded styles aren’t designed for daily raising and lowering, so choosing a lightweight fabric like linen helps to keep them from feeling like they’re blocking all of the sunlight or looking too heavy during long summer days.
As for colors, you can’t go wrong with a solid linen shade. Summer bedding is all about breathability and practicality. No one wants to get in their bed after a day at the beach and in the sun to a fluffy, heavy bed set. Our linen custom duvet covers create a luxurious sleep experience even in the summertime thanks to linen’s innate durability, moisture wicking and hypoallergenic qualities, and how lightweight it is.
