Ordering custom home furnishings can be complicated, we get it! That's why we compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions to make this process easier for you. Have more questions? Email us!

How do I calculate how many rings I need?
If you're ordering your hardware from us, there's no need to calculate the number of rings needed - we'll automatically provide the right amount of rings based on the rod size you select!

Can I add lining to my window treatments?
You have the option to choose a lining for any shade or drapery you order. You can go with unlined, add privacy lining for sun protection and enhanced privacy, or opt for blackout lining for maximum room darkening. The choice is yours!

Can I do a Loom Decor item in a different fabric?
Not finding the item in you'd like in the Loom Decor fabric? Don’t worry! We can make almost any of our items in any Loom fabric. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, try a quick search on our website or email us directly. Want to use your own fabric instead? No problem! We can work with your fabric, that's right, YOUR fabric. Just contact us to get started!

How should I clean my window treatments?
To spot clean your treatments, use a damp cloth with mild soap, then let them air dry to avoid shrinking. For tougher stains or dirt, professional dry cleaning is an option. Just be sure to consult with the cleaner beforehand to ensure the process won’t damage the structure of your drapery or shades.

Where is everything made?
Our Loom Decor Drapery, Pillows, Poufs, Bedding, Bench Cushions, and more are all hand-made at our local workroom in Southern Massachusetts!

What is the difference between Poly and Down inserts for pillows?
The Poly insert is slightly firmer and helps the pillow maintain its shape, while the Down insert offers a softer feel and may need more frequent fluffing to keep its shape over time.

Why should I order swatches?
We highly recommend ordering a swatch to see the fabric in person and how it looks in your space! The appearance of the fabric can vary under different lighting conditions compared to what you see online.

How do I calculate the width of my drapery?
For the width of your drapery panels, we recommend entering the full size of your drapery rod. That's it! We will account for the fullness on our end so there is no need to add extra width to ensure that your drapery looks full enough.

Can someone help me measure?
Of course! Our inbox is always open at hello@loomdecor.com, feel free to send us a picture of your windows! We also offer Design Consultations where we can go over the design, fabrics, & measuring process for your space!
