Linen Sheer Drapery 101
What is Linen Sheer Drapery? We're here to walk you through the details and the best rooms for this soft and delicate touch.
Linen Sheer Drapery is simply drapery that is made from loosely woven linen fabric, with a slightly see-through look (hence the word "sheers"). Soft and flowy, Linen Sheer Drapery is the epitome of breezy elegance.
Linen Sheer Drapery is ideal for spaces where you would like to add softness or have ample sunlight filter into the room throughout the day while the curtains are drawn. Drapery Sheers offer just the right amount of sheerness, providing privacy during the day while still allowing you to enjoy views of the neighborhood or outside view. They’re perfect for spaces where you want a sense of seclusion without feeling completely closed in.

Drapery Sheers can be styled by themselves on a single rod - providing a soft and flowy look for any room they're added to. They can also be paired with a set of drapery on a double rod (or track) for the best of both worlds!
Our favorite hardware for a double-rod would have to be our French Return hardware or Custom Cut hardware. Simply select "Double" under the "Set Type" drop-down. If you need help ordering a double rod, just reach out to us at hello@loomdecor.com!
Best Room for Linen Sheer Drapery:
1. Bathrooms - Great for Cafe Curtains covering up the lower half of your window, providing privacy where it matters while allowing you to let the sun shine in from the top.

2. Bedrooms - Styled with Blackout Drapery on a double rod, for room darkening at night and filtered sunlight throughout the day.

3. Living Room - Keeping things soft, light and breezy while adding a soft flow to your room. The perfect amount of softness without feeling heavy.

4. Extra Dark Rooms - Great way to soften the space while allowing ample natural sunlight into the room.
5. BONUS - Cafe Curtains - We love our Cafe Curtains and we especially love them in our Linen Sheer fabrics. Paired together, they make the most charming touch for kitchen nooks, above sink windows, or closets alike.
As always, feel free to send a photo of your space to hello@loomdecor.com and we'd be happy to offer our best recommendations!
